Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking a Production Supervisor in Newington, CT. You will plan and direct all department operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals, providing hands-on leadership and scheduling support on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include monitoring processes, disposing of scrap with root-cause analysis, and ensuring policy compliance. Strong communication and troubleshooting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person with ability to work with ITAR data.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience; aerospace preferred.
• 3+ years of supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate department operations to meet safety, quality, and production standards.
• Monitor processes and ensure quality requirements are met or exceeded.
• Review scrap and drive root-cause/corrective actions.
• Supervise department personnel and enforce HR policies.
• Engage in continuous shop-floor process improvements.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering work instructions; read FANUC/Okuma controls.
