Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an on-the-floor Manufacturing Expeditor III in Arlington, WA. You will ensure hardware is staged, moved, and arrives on time to support the production plan, acting as the connector between Operations Leadership, Production Control, and the shop floor.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing operations and proficiency with MRP/ERP systems to track work orders and inventory. You will coordinate recovery paths, document actions, and report constraints to leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years in manufacturing operations or related shop floor roles in aerospace/defense.
• Proficient with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle) for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Ability to read production schedules, BOMs, and shop floor routes.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and verify hardware across multiple work centers.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain real-time awareness of hardware location and status across the production flow.
• Drive recovery actions on constrained hardware via priority re-sequencing and overtime acceleration.
• Support creation and execution of Daily, Weekly, 2-Week, and Monthly Production Plans.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with kitting, staging, material handling, inspection, quality, MRB, and receiving teams.
• Maintain documentation of hardware status, recovery actions, and escalation history; communicate constraints to leadership.
