Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington state is seeking a hands-on Operations Specialist to ensure hardware is staged, moved, and delivered to the point of use in support of the production plan.

You will act as the connective tissue between Operations Leadership, Production Control, and the shop floor—driving accountability to the schedule, evaluating recovery options for at-risk hardware, and translating plans into actionable staging and movement priorities while maintaining rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing operations or related shop-floor roles.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Ability to read production schedules and bills of materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain real-time awareness of hardware location and readiness across the production flow.
• Drive recovery actions such as priority re-sequencing and overtime acceleration.
• Support creation and execution of daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to pull hardware through bottlenecks and ensure on-time delivery.
• Document hardware status and escalation history; report constraints to leadership.
