Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Production Control Manager to drive on-time delivery and Lean improvements across manufacturing operations. You will lead materials management, inventory control, and supplier coordination while enforcing quality and company policies.

The role requires experience in logistics, a business/engineering degree, and APICS/NAPM certification preferred, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge/experience in logistics and materials management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or similar.
• APICS and/or NAPM/ISM training and certification preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and understand technical specifications.
• Familiar with cost accounting, inventory valuation and reserves.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems; AS400 a plus.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools and cross-functional leadership.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage change.
• Experience supervising a team; interact with GM and other functions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information and communication for releasing, tracking, processing, and shipping parts per customer requirements.
• Lead production control and materials management to meet on-time delivery goals.
• Develop and implement inventory control processes and ERP usage.
• Analyze performance, drive continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align with quality and customer needs.
