Job summary

Sonaca North America seeks an Assembly Production Supervisor to manage daily sheet metal fabrication activities with emphasis on safety, quality, and throughput. The role reports to the Production Manager and aims to promote a performance-driven culture through metrics and Lean initiatives.

The supervisor will oversee the Assembly department's daily operations, coordinate schedules, and develop training programs for manufacturing staff, encouraging cross-training and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing leadership or supervision preferred.
• Ability to lead safety, quality, and throughput initiatives.
• Proven ability to coordinate daily assembly operations and production scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily sheet metal fabrication activities with focus on safety, quality, and throughput.
• Oversee all day-to-day Assembly department activities and report to Production Manager.
• Promote performance-based culture via metrics and daily production meetings; drive Lean projects and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement training programs for manufacturing personnel; encourage cross-training.
• Ensure compliance with QA procedures and regulatory requirements; participate in corrective actions.
