Job summary

TAT Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Greensboro site to support multi-site aerospace operations. You will collaborate with production, engineering and maintenance personnel to address equipment reliability issues and maintain electrical and mechanical systems.

The role includes preventive, scheduled and emergency maintenance, requires reading diagrams, using hand and power tools, and following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical aptitude; ability to learn industrial electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs.
• Basic electrical knowledge with 110/240/480-volt power.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, diagrams, specifications and manufacturer manuals.
• Good physical condition and willingness to work.
• Lock Out/Tag Out certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify industrial electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in a manufacturing or processing environment.
• Performs routine facility and equipment maintenance on production equipment, motors, drives, pumps, control panels, and related systems and records critical information appropriately.
• Knowledge of forklifts, aerial lifts, hoists, and other maintenance-related equipment; welding/fabrication skills a plus.
• Identifies, diagnoses, and communicates issues that arise with equipment.
• Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
