Job summary

Gecko Robotics seeks a Product Strategist - Aeromechanical Engineering to combine hands-on aircraft engineering with customer-facing technical judgment. You will collaborate with customer engineers and Gecko's software and robotics teams to understand workflows, identify where our technology can help, and deliver practical solutions that meet program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years in aerospace mechanical design or structural engineering with hands-on responsibility on aircraft programs.
• Strong CAD skills with PLM/PDM and FEA; knowledge of aircraft structures, GD&T, tolerances.
• Experience developing analytical methods and design tools with validation and formal acceptance.
• Familiarity with aircraft development lifecycle and design reviews (SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR).
• Proven ability to scope technical work, tradeoffs, and deliver to a schedule.
• Ability to work with software engineers; not required to be a software developer.
• Eligibility to access export‑controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on aircraft engineering support: CAD models, drawings, geometry review.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering and software requirements.
• Own technical work packages with scope, schedule, risk, and quality.
• Develop and qualify novel analytical methodologies and toolchains.
• Lead technical reviews and defend methods with stakeholders.
• Lead discussions with customer teams and build confidence in Gecko's work.
• Support aerospace product and GTM efforts through demonstrations and proposals.
• Mentor team in aircraft structures and engineering toolchains.
