Job summary

Sargent Aerospace & Defense is seeking a Product Manager - Aero to lead market research, product strategy, and sales growth for aerospace products. You will work to forecast demand, develop plans, and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to win new programs.

The role requires strong market intelligence, customer insight, and cross-functional leadership in a fast-paced environment within the aerospace sector. This position is based at our Tucson, AZ facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or Marketing plus 5 years of experience in a sales or marketing environment preferably in the aerospace industry

Responsibilities

• Establishes and attains sales goals.
• Perform market research and analysis to define the market for division product growth.
• Monitors market trends and needs.
• Presentation at monthly operations meetings of critical metrics such as booking rates, delivery rates, forecast adjustments, quotation activity, and order backlog, new business opportunity and progress, stock availability and booking trend.
• Provides data to prepare, update forecasts covering projected new business sales, bookings, proposal activity/costs by customer and program.
• Develops marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets of opportunity that clearly define objectives, goals, strategies, schedules and action assignments.
• Obtains new business programs. Provides direction and leadership to implement division sales strategy.
• Maintains a close watch on the activities of competitors.
• Manages the Customer Service function.
