Job summary

Sargent Aerospace & Defense, part of RBC Bearings, seeks a Product Manager - Aero to lead market analysis, product development and sales strategy across aerospace segments. You will coordinate with marketing, engineering, and sales to drive bookings and new business opportunities.

The role requires deep product knowledge, customer intelligence, and strong communication skills to shape division growth and competitive positioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or Marketing plus 5 years of experience in a sales or marketing environment preferably in the aerospace industry
• Strong Excel and Access skills
• Marketing communication and promotion

Responsibilities

• Establishes and attains sales goals.
• Perform market research and analysis to define the market for division product growth.
• Monitors market trends and needs.
• Presentation at monthly operations meetings of critical metrics such as booking rates, delivery rates, forecast adjustments, quotation activity, and order backlog.
• Provides data to prepare, update forecasts covering projected new business sales, bookings, proposal activity/costs by customer and program.
• Develops marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets of opportunity.
