Job summary

ACT Aerospace in Gunnison, Utah seeks an entry-level Buyer I to support aerospace manufacturing by purchasing materials, parts, and services. You will process POs, track orders, and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure smooth production flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders accurately and promptly with all required documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels using ERP to prevent shortages and support production.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships; assist in obtaining competitive bids and favorable terms.
• Collaborate with sales and internal departments to provide supplier information, lead times, and pricing for quotations.
