Job summary

Actalent is seeking an entry-level Buyer to support purchasing for aerospace components in a Mesa, AZ setting. You will create and monitor POs, review supplier quotes, and communicate pricing, availability, and delivery status to vendors.

This contract-to-hire role emphasizes supplier performance tracking and collaboration with internal teams. The position is onsite in Mesa, AZ, with a pay range of $28.00–$38.00 per hour and eligible benefits for temporary staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, supplier management, or 1–3 years of buyer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchasing materials, products, or aviation components.
• Create, process, and monitor purchase orders.
• Request and review supplier quotes.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery status.
• Track open orders and follow up on delayed materials.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information.
• Support sourcing and supplier management activities.
• Help resolve order, invoice, or delivery discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding purchasing needs.
• Assist with supplier performance tracking.
• Support inventory availability and material planning efforts.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes.
