Job summary

AAR Corp. is seeking a Manager of Business Process Improvement to develop and maintain process controls that drive efficiency and competitive advantage.

You will lead Continuous Improvement projects, monitor KPIs, and educate teams in Six Sigma tools and process methodology. Responsibilities include reporting to leaders, cross-functional collaboration, and implementing improvements to raise product quality and reduce defects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or eight years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Quality Improvement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement process management control systems through Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects.
• Develop, monitor and report KPIs to identify trends, variances and areas for improvement.
• Educate employees in process methodology, flowcharting, Six Sigma tools and KPIs through training.
• Report KPIs to business unit leaders and other stakeholders.
• Interface with customer and government representatives as necessary.
• Identify, analyze and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
