Job summary

Jobot, a worldwide leader in aerospace and defense materials, is seeking a process engineer to own and improve manufacturing processes, drive root cause investigations, and optimize throughput and quality. This role supports product launches, process validations, and capital projects while leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and RCCA methodologies.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering, 2+ years of process engineering experience, and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and cross-functional project leadership.
• Proven ability to lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve manufacturing processes, performance, and process control systems to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions using Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and RCCA methodologies.
• Drive efforts to reduce scrap, improve yield, and optimize throughput and quality in the manufacturing process.
• Support new product launches, process validations, and engineering trials to ensure successful integration into current processes.
• Support process improvement and capital equipment projects with technical leadership.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and control plans for efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and demonstrate project leadership using ERP systems.
