Job summary

AAR in United States, Rockford, IL is seeking a Manager, Business Process Improvement to lead and maintain a process control system, driving efficiency and competitive advantage for the organization.

You will develop and monitor KPI reporting, train staff in Six Sigma and process methodologies, and collaborate across departments and with customers/government representatives. A strong background in process improvement and Lean/Six Sigma is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years in process improvement, consulting, or related work.
• Experience with quality improvement techniques and Six Sigma preferred.
• Strong ability to educate others in process methods and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective process management control systems via CI initiatives.
• Monitor and report KPIs to leaders and stakeholders to spot trends.
• Educate staff in process methodology, flowcharting, and Six Sigma tools.
• Interface with customers and government representatives as needed.
• Suggest and debate improvements to meet changing opportunities.
• Collaborate with top management on policies and procedures.
• Supervise CI projects and related cross-functional work.
• Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements to reduce defects.
• Fulfill all other duties as assigned.
