Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is seeking a Business Process Engineer to lead systematic improvements across quality, operations, and compliance. You will analyze processes, map current state, and design future state with RCCA and CAPA in mind.

The role requires lean Six Sigma expertise, AS9100 Rev. D awareness, and ERP/MRP proficiency, plus strong communication with senior leaders and cross-functional teams; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, preferably in Aerospace & Defense.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action skills.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 Rev. D & QMS requirements.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and PMO/FMO concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Management System (QMS) audits and support audits for customers and registrars.
• Manage Nonconformance Reports (NCR) and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA) to closure.
• Conduct gap analyses to drive process improvements and establish metrics.
• Provide training and governance to promote standardized business processes across functions.
