Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive product quality and process excellence across the manufacturing lifecycle. You will lead FAI activities, develop control plans, and manage CAPA, MRB, and PPAP documentation while collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, expertise in ISO 9001/AS9100, and experience with SPC, PFMEA, and GD&T.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing quality environment and problem-solving.
• Strong knowledge of QMS and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead FAI activities and ensure AS9102 compliance.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans and quality docs.
• Drive corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why or Fishbone methods.
• Maintain MRB processes and disposition nonconforming material.
• Coordinate PPAP submissions and audit readiness.
• Support ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification activities.
• Lead cross-functional teams for root cause investigations.
• Support SPC implementation and data-driven quality improvements.
