Job summary

Marion-Tool- is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for precision aerospace components at our Indiana facility. You will define tooling, fixturing, and process parameters to meet tight tolerances and support high-quality, repeatable production.

You will program and support CNC operations, troubleshoot issues, and lead Lean/Six Sigma projects to reduce scrap, shorten cycle times, and improve yields while ensuring AS9100 compliance and robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7 years in aerospace or precision machining.
• Strong CNC milling/turning and GD&T skills.
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace components (CNC milling/finishing/assembly).
• Define tooling, fixturing, and process parameters to meet tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot machining and process issues (tool wear, chatter, dimensional variation).
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to analyze Cp/Cpk and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality, Production and Supply Chain.
