Job summary

77 consultants seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join a premier engineering and technology firm serving aerospace, energy, and industrial sectors. The role focuses on turbine and engine components, collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to boost production efficiency and quality.

You will lead tooling design, CNC programming, and Lean-driven process improvements, driving cross-functional projects and the integration of innovative manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
• At least 2 years of aerospace or turbine manufacturing experience.
• Experience in mechanical design support and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and CAM programming (Siemens NX or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with multi-axis milling and grinding.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Lean/manufacturing continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fixturing and tooling for turbine and engine components.
• Create and maintain CNC programs for milling and grinding operations.
• Collaborate with Operations and Quality to optimize workflows and meet specs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
• Manage cross-functional projects: new designs, repairs, and process enhancements.
• Work with engineering to incorporate new parts and manufacturing processes into production.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to elevate manufacturing performance.
• Support development and optimization of processes within a complex manufacturing framework.
