Job summary

RH Aero Systems in Mason, Ohio is seeking a Process Engineer to translate customer drawings into actionable shop instructions and to develop effective routing for both service and manufacturing work.

You will collaborate with operations, quality, tooling, and suppliers, apply lean methods, and drive continuous improvement to strengthen quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery across multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5-10 years in manufacturing, service operations, or engineering processes.
• Knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing methods, quality requirements, and CAD/CAM tools.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear written instructions and drawings.
• Collaborative approach with operations, quality, tooling, programming, suppliers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer drawings, specs, and requirements into clear process documentation and operating instructions for service and manufacturing work.
• Develop part and assembly instructions to route work through efficient machines, tools, and processes while meeting quality, cost, and delivery goals.
• Serve as a technical resource for shop operations to resolve producibility, drawing interpretation, and process issues.
• Represent the company in technical discussions with customers and support meetings when engineering input is needed.
• Create supporting manufacturing drawings, work instructions, and process details for production or repair activities.
