Job summary

RH Aero Systems in Mason, Ohio, seeks a Process Engineer to translate customer drawings into clear process documentation and instructions for service and manufacturing work.

You will develop part and assembly instructions to route work through efficient machines, tools, and processes while supporting quality, cost, and on-time delivery goals. You will collaborate with operations, quality, tooling, programming, suppliers, and customers to keep work moving smoothly and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, service operations, or engineering processes.
• Solid understanding of workflow, routing, and shop-floor execution.
• Working knowledge of hardware specifications, manufacturing methods, quality requirements, product development, GD&T, and CAD/CAM tools.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear written instructions, drawings, process details, and verbal communication.
• Collaborative approach to solving problems with operations, quality, tooling, programming, suppliers, and customers.
• Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer drawings, specifications, and requirements into clear process documentation and operating instructions.
• Develop part and assembly instructions to route work through efficient machines, tools, and processes.
• Serve as a technical resource for shop operations to resolve manufacturability and process questions.
• Represent the company in technical discussions with customers and support meetings when input is needed.
• Create manufacturing drawings, work instructions, and process details for smooth production or service repair.
• Apply continuous improvement and lean methods to strengthen quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical guidance to suppliers to meet customer requirements and quality expectations.
