Job summary

Parker Hannifin’s Dayton facility, part of the Engineered Materials Group, is seeking a Pre-Bonding Associate for the 3rd shift. You will read drawings, set up processing equipment, and help ensure quality and safety in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate across teams, document processes, and support continuous improvement efforts while handling hazardous materials in accordance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with management and colleagues
• Willingness to adapt to different tasks and schedules
• Dependable and able to work overtime when needed
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints and work instructions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook)
• Self-motivated with limited supervision
• Ability to lift up to 35 lb and handle tools/equipment

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow manufacturing documents to produce conforming products
• Set up and operate equipment for chemical processing and related prep activities
• Perform cleaning of products as needed
• Complete paperwork to ensure quality conformance and proper movement of product
• Ensure equipment and materials comply with procedures
• Support Kaizen improvements with area leadership and engineering
• Assist with hazardous waste storage and disposal
• Perform preventative maintenance activities
• Assist in area audits and safety adherence
• Other duties as assigned
