Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation’s Dayton facility (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness Division) seeks a Pre-Bonding Associate for the 3rd shift. The role focuses on setting up and operating cleaning, priming, and bonding steps to produce high-precision vibration mounts for aerospace applications.

Responsibilities include reading technical docs, maintaining quality records, performing prep work, and supporting Kaizen improvements while complying with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Understanding and applying drawings, blueprints and Manufacturing Work Instructions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook.
• Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 35 lbs and stand/kneel/squat as required.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow manufacturing documentation including prints and routers to ensure the production of conforming products.
• Sets up and operates manual and automated equipment for chemical processing, media blasting, cleaning, priming, adhesive application and other related preparation activities.
• Performs cleaning of product as necessary.
• Completes necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and proper movement of product.
• Ensures all equipment and materials used are compliant with procedures.
• Proactively improves area processes, procedures and documentation through Kaizen with leadership and Engineering.
• Responsible for proper storage and disposition of hazardous waste.
• Performs required preventative maintenance activities.
• Aids in preparation for and participates in area audits.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and procedures.
