Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation's Dayton, Ohio facility seeks a Machining Support Associate for 2nd or 3rd shift to support aerospace component manufacturing in the Noise, Vibration, and Harshness Division.

You will perform deburr, dot peen, sandblasting, painting, and cleaning prior to machining, operate dot peen machines, tumblers, and blasters, and participate in continuous improvement to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and available to work overtime when required.
• Able to communicate effectively with management and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork.
• Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook.
• Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision.
• At least 1 year of experience deburring parts.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual deburr and hand finishing operations per established procedures.
• Operates dot peen machine, tumblers and blasters.
• Suggest and participate in the implementation of process improvements and scrap reduction activities.
• Performs all required preventative maintenance activities.
• Completes all quality related inspection requirements.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and the proper movement and control of product.
• Actively participates in High Performance Teams and Continuous Improvement activities.
• Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Other assignments as required.
