The role requires 5+ years in aerospace planning, 1+ year of leadership, and strong MRP/ERP knowledge. Compliance with AS9100 and ITAR/DFARS is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in materials planning in an aerospace/precision metal manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1 year leading a team of direct reports.
• US work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.
• Export-controlled data rules apply; eligible to access ITAR items.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a planning team for materials planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Ensure availability of stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium bar stock and forgings for production.
• Manage and optimize MRP parameters, including safety stock, lead times, lot sizing, and reorder points.
• Collaborate with procurement, quality, engineering, and production to align planning with priorities.
• Monitor inventory levels to balance production continuity with working capital.
• Analyze demand forecasts, orders, and production schedules for material availability.
• Coordinate with suppliers for on-time delivery of aerospace-certified materials (AMS/ASTM).
• Maintain traceability and documentation per AS9100, FAA, and customer traceability requirements.
• Support engineering changes by assessing material impact and transition planning.
• Lead cycle counting and inventory accuracy initiatives; develop KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer flow-down, ITAR/DFARS.
