Precision Castparts Corp. in Irvine, CA, is seeking a seasoned Materials Planning professional to lead demand planning, inventory strategies, production requirements, and material availability within aerospace manufacturing.

You will manage day-to-day operations, develop team performance, and support department goals. This role requires expertise in ERP/MRP, strong analytical skills, ITAR compliance, AS9100 understanding, and experience in high-security aerospace settings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of aerospace materials planning, forecasting, and scheduling.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong analytics to interpret data and drive actions.
• Experience in ITAR-controlled, high-security environments.
• Understanding AS9100 quality standards and effects on planning.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily materials planning aligned with production schedules.
• Drive production schedules to meet targets while optimizing inventory.
• Coordinate new product introduction stage gates for timely delivery.
• Develop inventory control strategies to reduce stockouts and excess stock.
• Analyze historical demand and forecasts to improve accuracy and lead times.
• Lead root cause investigations of shortages or excesses.
• Coach and develop team for aerospace materials management best practices.
