Job summary

Onboard Systems International in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Material Planning & Inventory Manager to lead production planning, material planning, and inventory control. You will coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to balance customer demand with capacity and inventory objectives, driving improvements.

The role requires a 6+ year track record in planning and inventory, strong ERP/MRP skills, and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in production planning, scheduling, materials management, inventory management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning and scheduling to align demand, backlog, capacity, and priorities.
• Translate demand and schedules into material requirements using ERP/MRP tools.
• Own inventory targets and balance service, lead times, and working capital.
• Lead data integrity in ERP/MRP and develop reporting to improve visibility.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning, scheduling, and inventory processes.
