Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a procurement specialist to administer raw material procurement in alignment with regulations and procedures. You will review requisitions, develop supplier sources, issue bid requests, and evaluate quotations for cost-effective purchases.

The role requires negotiation with vendors, managing receiving transactions, tracking deliveries, and maintaining inventory levels to meet budget goals. ITAR eligibility and US work authorization are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience managing supplier relationships and inventory.
• Knowledge of material planning and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing in conjunction with long-term agreement contracts.
• Process receiving transactions and material allocation daily.
• Track on-time delivery from vendors and manage inventory levels.
• Develop relationships with vendors to ensure quality materials and competitive pricing.
• Source secondary vendors to ensure product availability.
• Prepare and issue bid specifications and review quotations.
• Timely PO entry based on MRP and communicate with stakeholders.
• Analyze inventory reports to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
