RTX in El Segundo, CA seeks a Mechanical Engineer intern to join the space and airborne optics team, performing opto-mechanical design using Creo and supporting assembly, integration, and test activities across space and airborne programs. You will work with a team of engineers to create drawings with GD&T, support producibility, and present work for peer reviews.

Competenze

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering (STEM) and enrolled through internship/co-op.
• Minimum 60 credit hours by start of internship/co-op.
• Experience in mechanical hardware design and development; Creo experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Design and revise opto-mechanical components and drawings with GD&T.
• Generate assembly instructions and support build, test, and integration activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure producibility and manufacturability.
