This hands-on leader role focuses on people and processes in a unionized manufacturing environment. The position oversees daily performance, facilitates issue resolution, conducts First Article and AQL inspections, and supports cross-shift communication.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with unionized employees.
• Strong conflict-resolution and people-management skills.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards.
• Experience in inspection, quality or manufacturing is desirable.
• Aerospace/medical/automotive manufacturing experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team across Inspection, Calibration and NDT.
• Manage day-to-day performance, priorities and employee relations in a unionized environment.
• Address conflict, employee concerns and operational challenges while maintaining a positive team environment.
• Oversee inspection activities including measurements, certifications, First Article Inspections and AQL/sample inspections.
• Support technical problem-solving and communication between shifts.
• Assist with interviewing and selecting new team members.
