Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Assurance (Falcon) for 2nd shift to lead a team of quality inspectors and ensure robust quality across Falcon production lines.

The role requires strong leadership, RCA/PFMEA skills, and expertise in AS9100/ISO 9001, with hands-on supervision of in-process and final inspections, and a focus on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related aerospace/manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading a team or project (1+ years).
• Familiar with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of quality inspector staff, and drive accountability for team performance.
• Supervise completion of Quality Assurance activities using SpaceX processes and systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Implement training and certifications, as needed, to maintain a highly skilled workforce.
• Lead RCCA process; perform root cause analysis and product containment, and recommend/support corrective actions.
• Oversee the critical characteristic control within production, including equipment/layout requirements.
