Responsibilities include supervising flight-line teams, planning launch/recovery procedures, and conducting comprehensive pre‑flight checks.

Qualifications

• Flight-Line expertise in launch, recovery, and sortie support.
• Hands-on mechanical and systems experience with airframes and fuel systems.
• Familiarity with AFI00-20-1 and DCMA-8210 standards.
• Active Secret clearance (recent) and eligibility for Special Program Access.
• Proven flight-line leadership at senior enlisted levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Flight‑Line Work – Direct teams performing mechanical and systems‑integration tasks, ensuring safety and mission timelines.
• Launch & Recovery Operations – Plan, coordinate, and execute aircraft launch and recovery procedures for sorties missions.
• Flight & Pre‑Flight Oversight – Perform pre‑flight inspections and verify configuration control for each mission.
• Cross‑Discipline Coordination – Collaborate with engineering, mission planning, quality, and logistics to resolve issues.
• Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement – Track safety, quality, schedule, cost; lead corrective actions and lean improvements.
