Job summary

The Operations Program Manager at AeroVironment serves as the central point of contact between the program and all Operations functions, including Production Planning, Supply Chain, and factories. The OPM ensures execution, alignment, and status reporting across the program lifecycle.

Responsibilities include leading program meetings, coordinating factory priorities with planning, and communicating status to leadership and customers. Strong PM expertise and DoD/export familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing Management, or Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of experience in Operations or Project Management.
• Collaborative problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in a highly technical environment.
• Deep knowledge of Project Management methods, tools, and processes.
• Ability to interface with internal teams and government/commercial customers.
• Basic familiarity with export licenses for the export of military products

Responsibilities

• Manage the Operations portion of the program throughout the program's life cycle.
• Coordinate with Planning and Factory Managers to set factory priorities.
• Report to stakeholders on hardware delivery status.
• Lead program meetings and reviews with operations and management.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on requirements to suppliers.
• Assist in preparing cost proposals and ensure policy compliance.
• Identify and report Operations risks & opportunities.
• Maintain alignment with project requirements and scope changes.
