Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering lead for New Product Introduction in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on cost, quality, manufacturability, and yield targets through established APQP processes and DFMEA/PFMEA governance.

You will interface with Engineering and Sourcing to secure capable suppliers and drive Production Readiness Reviews. The position requires on-site work at Phoenix and deep knowledge of AME processes, MRL management, and UPC modeling to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Electrical, Aerospace).
• 5+ years of Engineering, Technical Program Management or Integrated Supply Chain experience.
• 3+ years performing manufacturing engineering and/or technical program management on complex mechanical or electromechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of new manufacturing techniques.
• Review designs for cost, quality, manufacturability, and yield.
• Manage Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) items to meet IPDS goals.
• Manage Unit Product Cost (UPC) models to meet Flawless Launch and APQP goals.
• Ensure DFMEA/PFMEA/MSA and APQP elements are leveraged across programs.
• Interface with Engineering and Sourcing to identify suppliers meeting capacity and cost goals.
• Support production transitions and production readiness reviews.
