Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE in Torrance, CA is seeking a Production Machine Trainee to learn basic set-ups and operate multiple machines such as Broach, Shave A, and Smartline to meet production targets. You will run at least several machines, monitor quality, follow blueprints, and document procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in aerospace manufacturing or related field.
• Ability to read blueprints and use gauges for tolerance checks.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic set up and operates up to three automatic machines to produce parts per blueprints and specs.
• Monitors machine performance, detects out-of-tolerance conditions, and adjusts controls as needed.
• Performs trial runs, inspects parts with gauges, and documents results.
• Maintains quality by following procedures, reporting issues, and ensuring safety.
• Supports LEAP/APU/GAP standards and participates in team meetings and continuous improvement.
