Senior Aerospace SSP, a division of Senior plc, in Burbank, CA, seeks a Metal Fitter to set up and fit detailed parts on aircraft and aerospace assemblies. You will perform hand grinding, expanding and hand fitting to blueprint dimensions for heliarc tacking, welding and resistance welding.

Under supervision, you will align machined details, trim, file or grind parts, and set up single jobs in assembly jigs for welding; maintain output and quality targets and follow all company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED; or 3–6 months of related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Align machined details or stampings preparatory to welding operations.
• Trim, scribes, files or grinds parts to templates or scribed lines.
• Set up single jobs in assembly jig for welding.
• Assist higher classified workers as required.
• Perform rework, repair and other related operations.
• Maintain minimum output of 65%.
• Maintain minimum product quality acceptance of 90%.
• Follow all Senior policies and procedures.
