Job summary

Senior Aerospace SSP, a division of Senior plc, is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to oversee assembly and welding operations in a high-volume setting. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and on-time delivery, with leadership over 25+ team members and a focus on lean improvements.

The position requires 5–7 years in manufacturing (aerospace preferred), a high school diploma or GED, and a Bachelor’s degree is desirable. Monday–Friday 1st shift, with an annual target salary around $85,000.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in manufacturing environment required, aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with managing 25+ employees.
• Lean / Continuous Improvement trained.
• Experience with metrics in business analysis.

Responsibilities

• Directs all work in their assigned departments in accordance with specifications from the engineering division.
• Maintain safety stock buffers to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Train and supervise workers to maintain quality, productivity, and housekeeping.
• Control costs to meet budget and ensure safe operations.
• Conduct regular department inspections for cleanliness and safety.
• Provide supervisory direction, perform hiring and performance reviews, and manage disciplinary actions.
