Job summary

Sunvair Aerospace Group seeks a Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer to support development, reverse engineering, certification, repair, and sustainment of aerospace systems. This role blends mechanical engineering with electronics integration, controls, embedded systems, and system-level troubleshooting.

You will work across product development, PMA activities, repair capability development, and manufacturing support, collaborating with Systems, Electrical, Compliance, Quality, and Program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 2–5 years of aerospace, manufacturing, or product development experience.
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models, drawings, and data packages.
• Design and improve mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
• Perform tolerance analysis and manufacturability evaluations.
• Support FAA Part 21/Part 145 activities and PMA documentation.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and repair operations.
• Coordinate with Quality Engineering on non-conforming material investigations.
