Job summary

Sunvair in Owasso, Oklahoma seeks a Design Electronic Project Engineer to lead design modifications and repair development for aerospace electronic assemblies. The role focuses on PCB-level troubleshooting, test capability development, and DO-160/DO-254 compliance.

You will collaborate with mechanical, software, and compliance teams, build test fixtures, and contribute to qualification activities for new products and LRUs, ensuring reliability and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering required.
• Experience troubleshooting PCB assemblies and electronic circuits.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards DO-254/DO-160 preferred.
• Ability to interpret schematics, BOMs, and PCB layouts.

Responsibilities

• Design modifications and repair schemes for aerospace electronic assemblies.
• Develop test capabilities, fixtures, and automated test setups.
• Create test procedures and validation plans for components.
• PCB-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Support DO-160 environmental and electrical qualification.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and compliance teams.
