Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Survey and Repair technician II for the Opa Locka, Florida facility. This onsite role performs overhaul, rework, and repair tasks on aircraft equipment to maintain workflow. The position is 100% onsite in Opa Locka, FL, with a 2nd shift from 2:45pm to 11:15pm, Monday–Friday, and overtime as needed.

Training will occur for 4–8 weeks on First Shift (5:45am–2:15pm). Responsibilities include assembly tasks, precision measurement, and final inspection of bushings and

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install bushings, bearings, sleeves, and metal shims on aircraft components per overhaul manuals.
• Use close tolerance measuring instruments to verify CMM specs.
• Operate honing machinery and swaging-related equipment.
