Job summary

Collins Aerospace RTX in Miramar, FL is seeking an onsite maintenance professional to support continuous improvement, EH&S initiatives, and daily SAP-based workflows. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and reworking aerospace components and LRUs in a safety-sensitive environment.

You will interact with government personnel/auditors as needed, follow FAA regulations, and participate in company-wide safety and quality programs. Training for 1st shift may be offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or technical education with 1+ year relevant experience.
• Experience with CMM, technical sheets, work instructions, or blueprints.
• Must be able to read, speak and understand English per FAR 65.71(a)(2).

Responsibilities

• Participate in continuous improvement and EH&S activities.
• Deliver on performance goals with supervisors and support personnel.
• Enter and retrieve data from the SAP system for daily activities.
• Maintain safe, neat, and orderly work area.
• Interface with customers (government personnel/auditors) as necessary.
• Inspect and disposition components and modules.
• Rework/repair, scrap, and replace components, modules, and LRUs.
