Job summary

Collins Aerospace in College Park, GA, is seeking an Avionics Electronics Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, repair and modification of electronic avionics equipment. The role is a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM) and onsite at our College Park facility.

You will work under supervision with FAA safety guidelines in a dynamic aerospace environment. Responsibilities include using diverse test equipment, reprogramming as needed, and performing complex electrical/mechanical repair

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school) with minimum 6 years of relevant experience, or 8 years without a HS diploma.
• Electronics maintenance industry experience or education required.
• Must have prior experience troubleshooting electronics equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision test equipment for alignment, troubleshooting and testing.
• Reprogram equipment and determine possible failures.
• Aligns and adjusts advanced electrical components for proper functioning.
• Conducts functional tests to check operation and calibration of test stations.
