Job description

Location: 3601 Flamingo Rd, Miramar, FL 33009 – Onsite work required. U.S. citizenship mandatory.

What You Will Do
  • Participate in continuous improvement, environmental, health and safety (EH&S) activities.
  • Understand and achieve individual and departmental performance goals.
  • Resolve problems with supervisors and support personnel.
  • Enter and retrieve information from SAP for daily tasks.
  • Maintain safe, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Follow instructions and use equipment per FAA and company regulations.
  • Interface with government personnel or auditors as needed.
  • Inspect, rework, repair, scrap, and replace components, modules, and LRUs.
  • Assemble, disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electronic accessory components, including testing.
  • Check clearances, tolerances, and alignment; make adjustments for conformance.
  • Record data to accept/reject criteria for approved maintenance data.
  • Identify parts by number and serial number.
  • Verify electrical continuity, insulation resistance, and dielectric testing of electromechanical devices.
  • Follow through on assignments, resolving questions and problems independently.
  • Support EH&S, Quality, and HR Employee Engagement initiatives.

Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday. May train on 1st Shift (7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday) for ~90 days.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Experience with CMM, technical sheets, work instructions, and/or blueprints.
  • Meet FAR 65.71(a)(2): read, speak, understand English; if employed outside the U.S., certificate endorsement valid only outside the U.S.
  • Meet FAR 145.155(b)(a): certified repair station inspector must understand, read, and write English.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • 2+ years in the aerospace industry, preferably in an MRO environment.
  • A&P license or enrollment in an A&P program.
