Amca seeks a senior mechanical engineering leader to guide the design, build, and test of aerospace hardware across seven factories. You will mentor engineers, set design standards, and drive manufacturability, cost, and reliability from day one in collaboration with program management and customers.

Competenze

• Aerospace/defense hardware background with flight qualification to production.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams.
• Fluids and structural design knowledge, GD&T and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with avionics or power electronics hardware, including thermal management.
• Hands-on bench/work in protoshop; not just design reviews.
• Strong engineering first principles and problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810/DO-160 and aerospace qualification frameworks.

• Lead mechanical engineering team across design, build, and test.
• Hire, develop, and retain mechanical design, build, and test engineers.
• Set technical bar for design reviews, qualification testing, build methodology, and DFM standards.
• Mentor engineers at all levels and foster ownership and problem solving.
