Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT is seeking a P2 Mechanical Engineer to support military exhaust system hardware. You will act as a technical leader, evaluating nonconforming components, determining usability, and driving cross-functional investigations.

You will develop corrective actions, create and revise engineering blueprints, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement to improve producibility and on-time delivery while strengthening ESTO processes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and disposition nonconforming military exhaust system hardware in accordance with engineering requirements and safety standards.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams including manufacturing, structural analysis, quality, procurement, and engineering subject matter experts.
• Conduct and facilitate root cause investigations; develop and implement effective corrective actions.
• Create and revise engineering blueprints to align technical requirements with manufacturing capability and improve producibility.
• Drive efforts to eliminate repeat analyses of similar nonconformance conditions through standardization and improved processes.
• Document lessons learned and ensure effective communication of findings across engineering and operations teams.
• Document improvement initiatives that strengthen ESTO processes and reduce hardware nonconformance rates.
