Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Level2) or Principal Mechanical Engineer (Level3) to support the Sentinel program. The role covers design, development, fabrication, testing, installation and maintenance of launch equipment hardware.

You will develop CAD models in Siemens NX, verify designs via modeling and testing, and interface with customers while supporting all lifecycle phases and performing stress/dynamic analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field required; Level2 requires 2+ years relevant experience; Level3 requires 5+ years or Master’s with 3+ years.
• U.S. Citizenship and active Secret Clearance at application time; ability to obtain SAP approval.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, produce and deploy launch equipment hardware for the Sentinel program.
• Develop CAD models and 3-D drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Verify specifications through modeling, simulation and test data processing.
• Support design through all lifecycle phases: design, drawings, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance.
