Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal / Sr Principal Systems Engineer for the Launch Support System (LSS) on the Sentinel program, based in Roy, Utah. The role supports flight-test specific products and has potential relocation assistance.

You will develop MBSE models, lead requirements decomposition, and manage DOORS-backed requirements while coordinating with design, test, and IPT counterparts to deliver robust systems engineering artifacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 5+ years of related experience for Principal; 8+ years for Sr Principal.
• US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance; ability to obtain SAP approval.
• At least 2 years modeling with Cameo or similar tools; 3+ years in Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MBSE models for the Launch Support System (LSS) in Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical).
• Lead requirements decomposition, derivation, and flow-down across the specification tree into LSS architecture and design with full traceability.
• Plan and execute verification and validation activities for LSS, including integration, test, and field operations.
• Manage LSS requirements in DOORS and coordinate with design, test, and IPT counterparts.
• Prepare and present LSS materials and model-based artifacts for Flight Test Design Reviews and process changes.
