RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to perform design and documentation of antennas, RF sensors, and related subsystems for aerospace and defense programs. The role requires pursuing or holding a DoD security clearance, U.S.

citizenship, and onsite work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. You will support production programs to maintain high quality and on-time delivery, engage with suppliers for issues, and develop technical solutions while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or 2+ years of related experience.
Experience with electronics packaging for military and aerospace.
Knowledge of GD&T and drawing standards.
Experience with PTC Creo MCAD and engineering drawings.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical design and documentation of antennas, RF sensors, and related subsystems.
Support production programs to ensure on-time delivery.
Follow procedures while aligning with program and leadership to meet objectives.
Develop technical solutions for complex problems.
Oversee mechanical outline, connectors, drawings, and wiring layouts.
Work with minimal supervision and coordinate with IPTL and PM.
Travel to suppliers and sites as needed.
