Job summary

RTX in Texas is seeking talented Electrical Engineers at McKinney and Plano locations to support a critical production program within the Airborne RF Electronics Design Department. You will work with hardware and software, resolve production/test issues, and collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program functions.

Required are a Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and hands-on experience with test equipment and RF circuitry. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and implementing solutions
• Experience with using measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assess production test design coverage across special test equipment to assembly, test, and verification processes.
• Troubleshoot hardware and test sets down to component level including RF/microwave circuitry and interfaces and software.
• Analyze test data, verify compliance with specifications, and drive resolution of production test set issues.
• Identify and implement improvements while delivering status updates to program leadership.
• Maintain operability of special test equipment and support production and suppliers up to 25% travel.
