Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Principal Mechanical Engineer at our McKinney, TX site to lead mechanical design, test, integration and documentation for RF systems and sub-systems, including antennas, radomes, sensors, waveguides and supporting electronics. You will guide detailed drawings using GD&T, define mechanical outlines, select connectors, generate assembly drawings, and oversee electrical layout.

The role requires mentoring junior engineers, frequent collaboration with program management, ANSI

Qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field from ABET-accredited university.
10+ years of experience in design and manufacturing of electronics packaging for military and aerospace applications.
Thorough knowledge of GD&T, ANSI drawing standards and first order analysis techniques.
Ability to travel periodically to suppliers, manufacturing facilities and customer sites to support programs (up to 25%).
U.S. Citizenship is required, as this position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance.
