Job summary

RTX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for an onsite role in Massachusetts. You will drive hardware design for rapid prototyping, generate drawings, and support additive manufacturing and 3D scanning activities as part of a small team.

Responsibilities include modeling with CREO, rapid prototyping from concept through testing, and coordinating with suppliers to fabricate and validate hardware while maintaining program schedule compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field by start date.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling CAD tools and reading mechanical drawings (GD&T).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support AM lab capabilities and end-to-end prototype part workflows.
• Connect internal customers to external suppliers for AM and traditional parts.
• Utilize CREO CAD tool for modeling and documentation creation.
• Support end-to-end rapid prototyping from requirements to fabrication and test.
• Perform 3D scanning for hardware measurement and documentation applications.
• Create documents per Raytheon guidelines and release in the PDM system.
• Manage multiple requests, materials, processes, and workflow stages.
